Print Customer Service
An independent High Street print room providing our customers with a friendly, fast service with high quality end product

OBJECTIVES
1. To ensure the smooth day to day running of the front counter
2. To ensure corporate and private clients get consistent excellent customer service
3. Increase sales and income by developing better relationships with new and current key accounts
TASKS
4. Take customer orders by phone and email using the existing computer system (Print Smith) and manual systems. This will include agreeing client deadlines, signing off proofs with clients, taking artwork briefs and orders for offset litho printing and other services
5. Estimate, log and follow up print and digital orders with corporate and private clients
6. Check client files and print to specification. You will need to be proficient in Microsoft programmes and Acrobat.
7. Take payment and deposits by cash and credit cards.
8. Cash up as required and run daily reports.
9. Ensure digital and finishing schedule is updated and deadlines are met daily
10. Liaise with production department to ensure that off -set litho orders are on time and any off site finishing required is built into their schedule.
11. Ensure that relevant marketing and display material is up to date
12. Order paper and finishing materials using purchase order systems are required
13. Liaise with outside suppliers to get estimates and to ensure deadlines are met
14. Help with hard copy filing of artwork as required and any marketing tasks as required

Skills:
Ability to prioritise workload and be able to work calmly under pressure without constant supervision
Must be willing to take on increased responsibilities and assume a managerial role of the site when the business owner is absent
Good team player within our small team
Excellent attention to detail
Hardworking and efficient, and must have excellent organisational and communication skills
